From CollisionWeek

The USAA Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization, contributed $10,000 to the Collision Repair Education Foundation. The USAA Foundation’s contribution benefits the entire industry as this enhances the Education Foundation’s ability to offer grants and scholarships to career and technical schools and colleges and the students attending these schools.

The $10,000 gift from The USAA Foundation, Inc. will support the Education Foundation’s Collision Repair Education Campaign fund which allows the Foundation to provide its annual student scholarships, school grants, and the annual Ultimate Collision Education Makeover $50,000 school grant.

Collision Repair Education Foundation Executive Director Clark Plucinski noted, “On behalf of the Board of Trustees, staff, and the secondary and post-secondary collision school programs that the Education Foundation supports across the country, we would like to thank The USAA Foundation, Inc. for their annual contribution and allowing us the opportunity to support the collision industry’s future professionals.”

Industry organizations looking to assist secondary and post-secondary collision school programs and their students through monetary and/or in-kind product donations should contact Director of Development Brandon Eckenrode at 847.463.5244 or Brandon.Eckenrode@ed-foundation.org.
