On Wednesday, October 1, the Georgia Collision Industry Association (GCIA) held their 18th Annual Golf Tournament at the Trophy Club of Atlanta, located in Alpharetta GA. Executive Director Howard Batchelor says, “we had 105 people show up for a beautiful day of golf, and I believe all of the attendees really enjoyed themselves.”

For a registration fee of $100 per golfer, attendees received breakfast, lunch, and unlimited drinks and snacks, in addition to 18 holes of golf and a chance to receive a plethora of door prizes donated by the event’s sponsors. Sponsors for the event included Stone X, Computer Logic, Georgia Dent Resolution, Guide One, Hertz, Infiniti of Gwinnett, Mitchell, Osborne BodyWorks, StopDRP.com, Three Eaves Realty, Sports & Imports, All Star Auto Lights South, Enterprise, LKQ, ACS, 3M, Hennessy Lexus, Akzo Nobel, Axalta, BASF, FinishMaster, PPG, Service King and Single Source.

GCIA will be donating $2000 of the proceeds raised at the golf tournament to a local auto body school to help them purchase tools and equipment. The remainder of the proceeds will be utilized to fund the association’s various meetings and events.
